Why Pump a Keg? Draft your beer with a CO2 Keg Tap

posted on May 26, 2009 in Tailgate Supplies

Nothing is worse than a keg with a hand tap. No one wants to stand around pumping their beer at a party. It is unnecessary work and can be very messy once the party gets going. Instead of wearing yourself out pumping your own beer, you can really treat your guests by getting a CO2 keg tap. The CO2 is beverage quality, which means it is 99.97% pure. The only work you need to do is installing a CO2 cartridge into the keg and you are ready to go.

The keg tap is customizable so you can set the pressure to whatever you want. That means you control the head on the beer. No matter how you like your beer, you can set the keg tap up to pour it perfect every time. It is the closest thing to brewery quality beer you can get outside the brewery.

The setup is simple, too. One cylinder will dispense a full ½ barrel and will fit any American Sankey keg couple, but will also accommodate other kegs such as a European Sankey, Hoff Stevens, Bass or German Keg Couplers. If you are ready to host the ultimate party, you need to keep away from the manual pumps and go the extra mile with a CO2 keg tap.
